OUR HISTORY

First Established in 1994, InBond was based at Teesside Airport and focused on servicing and managing air and sea cargo shipments. Following two years of success based at the Teesside Airport, the decision was made to relocate to the ex-MOD site, Eaglescliffe Logistics Centre to facilitate the expansion of the InBond’s client base.

In 1998, InBond became the Key Supply Chain Partner for a large scale Electrical Manufacturing Company, managing the storage and distribution of a wide range of electrical goods.

In early 2000, InBond became HMRC Excise Bond Approved, which provided services that would benefit a wider range of clients. This led to InBond securing many contracts with major wine distribution companies, some of which we still serve today. In 2005, InBond secured a high volume Pick and Pack contract, that provided large scale order fulfilment.

To better manage our warehouses and stock within them, the management team in 2008, decided to make a significant IT investment into the company, which led to the introduction of our state of the art Warehouse Management System that we use throughout our site.

In 2014, InBond experienced a management buyout, which resulted in a site relocation to NorthShore Logistics Centre, Malleable Way, Stockton-on-Tees – Located close to transport links, 10 miles of Teesport with road links such as the A66, A19, A1 and the M1.

In 2016, InBond obtained accreditations such as BRCGS and ISO 9001:2015, further improving our enhanced quality systems. Continued success in 2018 with us securing a long term contract, serving FMCG manufacturing. In 2023, InBond made another large investment, this time into infrastructure to enhance our ecommerce order fulfilment capabilities.

Based in the heart of the North East of England, and having business overheads being considerably lower than those based further South of the United Kingdom, we have the advantage of being highly price competitive. Based close to excellent transportation links, we can ensure that we deliver our services in a timely manner, providing smooth operations that suit any requirements that our clients have.

Being HMRC Excise Bond Approved and accredited with BRCGS and ISO 9001:2015, we can provide our services to a wide range of businesses, and offer the assurance that our clients’ goods will be handled and stored securely and safely. Embedded into our everyday functions, we closely consider quality standards and continuously reflect on our processes and look at how to improve, ensuring that high standards continue to be delivered and maintained.
